What Vision Towards Peace needed

The Vision Towards Peace team was booked solid through word-of-mouth referrals, but their website hadn't kept up with their growth.

The site was 4 years out of date, still listing old services and staff while missing over 20 providers who joined the practice over the years. It was also missing key information about some of their processes and services which left their staff answering the same questions over and over.

Visually, the design itself was dark and heavy, which Dr. Givner felt sent the wrong message to their visitors. It ran on Squarespace, which meant every new service or update required the VTP staff to design a page from scratch or try to redesign an existing page, which wasn't the best use of their time.

What happened after the site launched

Vision Towards Peace has been around for over 14 years, so I led the redesign by highlighting their longevity and credibility.

I migrated their website from Squarespace to Webflow, so adding a new provider or updating their services no longer requires them to do any designing. I built a filterable FAQ page to cut down on the repetitive calls their front desk was fielding, and a careers page so applicants could apply directly on their website instead of going through a third party.

Visually, I traded their dark, heavy look for something light and airy that puts the team's personalities front and center. Every provider now has a team member profile that actually shows off their credibility, not just a headshot and a title.

To help search engines find and recommend their site, I set up VTP's SEO from the ground up, since they didn't have any in place before, with restructured pages and internal linking. I compared VTP's analytics from their last month on Squarespace against their first month with the new redesigned site, and the growth backs up the redesign.

Their website sessions more than tripled, going from 705 to 2,497. Since VTP didn't have any SEO in place before working with me, watching organic search sessions climb from 212 to 385 tells me the new page structure and internal linking are already starting to pull their weight.

Page views jumped from 1,400 to 3,500, and referral traffic showed up as a real channel for the first time (184 sessions), something the old site never had. Direct traffic, still VTP's biggest driver, grew right alongside everything else, up from 469 to 1,500.

Straight from Dr. Givner

"I'm just f****** floored. Like, you heard us. You heard what was important to us and you showed up. You made it happen. That's the best part, because everybody doesn't do that. You know, actually listen. Seeing the site just got me so joyed. This is amazing. It feels so mature. Thank you. Thank you so much."
