Tools to run your business like a pro.
Website Platforms
Your website is the foundation of your online presence, not just a digital business card. These are the platforms I recommend for beauty and wellness business owners who want a site that looks professional, supports bookings, and grows alongside their business. Choosing the right platform early saves you time, money, and an unnecessary rebuild down the road.
Webflow
A powerful visual website platform built for businesses that want more control, flexibility, and long-term growth. Webflow sites are fast, highly customizable, and built to grow with your business as your content, services, and visibility grows. (You're on one right now!)
Showit
An intuitive drag-and-drop website platform that makes it easy to design a beautiful site without code. Showit is my second website platform of choice, best for service providers who want a visually expressive website with a smooth editing experience (but don't need all the bells and whistles of Webflow).
Organization & Operation Tools
Behind every booked-out beauty or wellness business is a solid backend. From consultation requests and contracts to invoices and payroll, staying organized is what keeps business running smoothly. These tools help you automate the repetitive stuff and deliver a consistent experience.
Dubsado (CRM System)
More than a CRM, Dubsado is like having a virtual business assistant. Use it to automate client onboarding, contracts, invoices, and workflows so you can spend less time juggling tasks and more time serving clients.
ClickUp (Project Management)
A robust organizational hub for managing tasks, projects, and deadlines across your business. Whether you’re collaborating with a team or just trying to keep your own to-do's in order, ClickUp helps eliminate chaos.
Novo (Business Banking)
A small business-friendly banking solution with no hidden fees and a clean, simple interface, ideal for entrepreneurs who want straightforward financial tools.
Email Marketing Tools
Email is still one of the most reliable ways to stay connected with potential and current clients. These tools help you grow your list, show up consistently, and guide people toward booking without depending entirely on social media.
Flodesk
A design-forward email platform that makes sending beautiful newsletters and campaigns as delightful for you to create as it is for your audience to receive.
Free SEO Tools
Your website can't grow if you can't see how it's performing. These are the tracking tools I recommend for beauty and wellness business owners who want to know how people find them, what those people do once they land, and what to fix next. Set them up early and you'll have the history to back up your decisions later.
Google Analytics
A free tool that shows you what happens after someone lands on your site: who's visiting, where they came from, which pages they read, and whether they made it to your booking page. Think of it as your website's report card on how hard it's actually working for you.
Google Search Console
A free tool that shows you how you appear in search before anyone clicks. You'll see the exact searches your future clients are typing, which of your pages Google is showing them, and whether Google can find and read your site at all. If you want to be found, start here.
Free Resources
Not everything worth bookmarking is a tool. These are the free resources I've created for beauty and wellness pros who want more people finding their website (and more of those people inquiring and booking).
The Driver's Seat Podcast *new*
My private podcast for beauty and wellness pros who want more people finding their website. Six short episodes, six ways to bring in traffic, and you can get through the whole thing in under an hour. (There's a bonus episode on showing up in AI search, too.)
Lab Notes
My weekly email for beauty and wellness pros. Every Wednesday, you get one website, SEO, or brand tip you can put to work right away. It's short enough to read between clients, and it always comes back to getting you more bookings.
Design Resources
In the beauty and wellness space, visuals carry a lot of weight. These resources help you find fonts, templates, and design assets that elevate your brand without starting from scratch every time.
Creative Market
My favorite online marketplace for fonts, icons, templates, and digital assets that elevate your branding and content without reinventing the wheel.
Have Questions?
Can I run my business without these?
Yes, especially if you're just getting started. That said, the right tools can significantly improve how your business (and website) perform behind the scenes, so they're definitely worth investing in when you're able to.
Are these tools beginner-friendly?
A lot of them are, yes. Some tools are designed specifically with newer business owners in mind, while others offer more advanced features that grow with you over time. You don't need to master everything at once. Most of these tools are best introduced gradually as your business and systems evolve.
Do I need all of these tools?
Definitely not. Every business is different. Your tech tools should match what your business actually needs, not what you think you’re supposed to have. The goal is to choose the tools that make sense for where your business is right now, not to overwhelm yourself with unnecessary resources or software.
Not sure which tools are worth your time?

Before you sign up for another tool, find out what your website actually needs. A Polished Pages Audit looks at the most important parts of your site so you can make smarter decisions about the tools you use to support it.
