Hey! I’m Domanique, the website strategist, SEO nerd, and founder of The Rebrand Lab.

I started designing websites in 2019 with no formal tech background—just a love for design and a curiosity for why some websites work while others...don't.

Today, I design Workhorse Websites™ for beauty and wellness entrepreneurs who are incredible at what they do…but tired of relying on Instagram, referrals, or “hoping people find them.”

Around here, we break down how your website can actually get traffic from Google, earn trust, and convert casual browsers into new bookings.

How can I support your website right now?

What actually happens during a website audit (and how it saves you money)

I've looked at hundreds of beauty and wellness websites at this point. And almost every time, the business owner tells me some version of the same thing: "I know something's off, I just don't know what."

Maybe that's you right now. Your site gets visitors. It just doesn't get many bookings. So you start poking at it. Moving a sentence from the home page to the about page. Swapping a photo. Changing a button color. Nothing really changes, so you move it all back.

That's usually when people start assuming they need a full redesign. Sometimes they do. But honestly, most of the time, they don't. What they actually need is someone to tell them what's wrong before they waste unneeded money or time guessing.

The Point of a Website Audit (and Why Most Don't Work)

Website audits have gotten watered down over the years into automated tech scans and generic checklists. I often see “free” website audits offered as surface-level, check-the-box lists that lack any real insight into your business or your ideal clients.

I have a website audit service called Polished Pages, and I created it specifically to rewrite that "free and unhelpful" reputation.

Polished Pages meets you wherever your website is right now. Maybe you used a template. Maybe you built it with AI tools. Maybe your cousin who's "good with computers" put it together as a favor. All of that is a completely normal way to start, you don't need a custom site to prove you're serious about your business.

What you do need is an expert's eyes on what you already have, before you spend more time or money guessing your way through fixes (or investing in a redesign you don't need yet).

There's no robot behind this audit. I'm personally going through your site page by page, looking for what's actually costing you clients, not busy-work tasks that won't even move the needle.

What Happens During a Website Audit

Every audit runs through my signature POLISH framework: the same exact process I use on custom website projects that cost $2k to $10k+.

Page Design: Does your site look like you, or like every other inspo board on Pinterest? I go through your design to make sure it's cohesive and unmistakably yours. A site that could belong to anyone isn't building trust for your brand.

Organization: Does your site's structure actually make sense? I make sure people can find what they need without hunting for it, and flag anything that's taking up space without earning its place.

Language: You could be the best in your industry and still lose clients if your wording isn't landing. I look at whether your copy is speaking to the people you actually want to attract.

Integrations: I check that your analytics (Google Analytics and Search Console) are connected and working. If something's missing or set up wrong, you'll know exactly what to fix so you stop losing data.

Social Proof: What trust signals does your site have, and what's missing? I look at how your site could build more credibility so visitors feel confident enough to reach out.

High-Value Actions: Is your site guiding people toward booking with you, or just letting them scroll? I look at your calls-to-action and button placement to make sure the right people can actually take the next step.

What You Walk Away With

After auditing your website, I record a personalized Audit Report video walking you through my recommended website changes—and, more importantly, why I’m recommending them.

I don’t just hand you a laundry list of things to fix.

I explain the reasoning behind each recommendation so you’re not making the same mistakes again six months from now.

Each action item comes with an urgency level (critical, high priority, medium priority, or low priority), because I want you to start with the changes that will actually move the needle.

For example, what sense does it make to spend hours hunting for a trendy new website font when you’d see better results by placing your buttons more strategically throughout your site?

Alongside your Audit Report, I also leave my feedback directly on your website pages. No vague notes. No guessing games. No “wait… which heading were you talking about again?” Everything is clearly labeled and annotated exactly where the change needs to happen.

My fellow Type-A business owners love this process.

Focused work beats guesswork every time.

How Website Audits Save You Money

The goal of a Polished Pages audit isn’t to scare you into a full redesign, or convince you that you have to work with me to have a high-performing website.

I actually created this offer for the opposite reason.

I kept seeing business owners completely burn down their websites the moment something felt off…or prematurely invest thousands of dollars into a redesign or running ads without ever diagnosing the real problem. In many cases, there were solid foundations already in place, they just needed refinement, not replacement.

And honestly? That sucks, because I’ve been there.

I want you to make informed decisions based on facts, not impulsive ones based on frustration or comparison. That’s especially true if you’re newer in business.

Starting with a website audit helps you avoid:

  • Unnecessary redesigns: Full website rebuilds are a major financial lift, and can result in little to no improvement in the areas that actually matter (website conversions, bookings, sales).
  • Trial-and-error costs: Wasting time and money on tweaks and revisions that don’t impact your bottom line.
  • Having to pay to play: Fixing foundational issues early can improve your organic website traffic, reducing how much you need to spend on ads later (if any).
  • Analysis paralysis: The hidden cost of not taking any action because you’re overwhelmed and unsure where to start.

If I could rewind the clock back to 2019-era Domanique and invest $497 in personalized website guidance, instead of wasting thousands of dollars and countless hours on one-size-fits-all courses and templates, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Back then, I would have done just about anything to have a more experienced designer look at my site and say, “Here’s exactly what to fix, and what to stop overthinking.”

Instead, I spent way too much time fiddling with my website, borrowing layout ideas from competitors, and trying to force someone else’s strategy to work for my business. Spoiler: it didn’t.

A strategic website audit helps you get clarity before investing in a full redesign, or business resources, you may not actually need.

What a Polished Pages Audit Looks Like in Real Life

I know there are a lot of website audits out there. After six years of working with beauty and wellness businesses, I built Polished Pages to be beginner-business friendly, cost-efficient, deeply informative, and completely personalized, not generic or automated.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Book the Audit: Head here to book your Polished Pages audit. After you share your info, sign the contract, and book your audit, you’re just 7 days away from receiving your results.
  2. Context Gathering: Before I touch your website, I want to understand your business. You’ll complete a short questionnaire covering your services, ideal clients, and what’s felt frustrating about your website so far.
  3. Website Review: This is where I roll up my sleeves. I perform a deep-dive audit of your site, not using a generic checklist, but looking for specific opportunities that can actually move the needle. My three-phase approach makes sure no stone is unturned as I review your website’s design, messaging, usability, responsiveness, and overall performance.
  4. Personalized Feedback & Priority Roadmap: You’ll receive honest, actionable feedback on what’s working, and what’s quietly holding your site back. Every recommendation includes an urgency level so you can prioritize with confidence and finally replace “winging it” with a clear plan of action.
  5. Polish or Redesign Your Pages: Once you know what needs fixing, you’re in control. You can implement the changes yourself, book a Revision Day, or move into a full website redesign. There’s zero pressure to continue working with me if you feel confident executing the updates on your own.

And the best part?

All of this happens behind the scenes, within 7 days of booking.

You don’t have to sit through a two-hour strategy call or watch me audit your site live to understand your results. I know you’re busy running your business, so this audit is designed to be high-clarity, low-lift.

Who This Audit Is Really For (and Who It’s Not)

Polished Pages audits are for beauty and wellness entrepreneurs who want clarity around how to get more consistent website traffic, bookings, and conversions—without jumping straight into a redesign blindly.

This audit might not be the best fit if:

  • You don’t yet have a clear idea of who your ideal client is
  • You’re looking specifically for a technical SEO audit
  • Your business primarily sells physical or digital products

The Takeaway

Having a pretty website is nice.

But having a working website is what actually moves your business forward.

If your site isn’t supporting bookings, inquiries, or sales, it’s essentially doing the same thing as no website at all. The trap a lot of business owners fall into is spending time and money fixing things that don’t impact the bottom line…or ignoring the red flags altogether and hoping things magically start working.

Your time is already split in enough directions. Your website should be lightening your load, not adding to it.

A well-built website acts like your biggest brand advocate. It attracts the right people, warms them up to your services, answers their unspoken questions, and helps them decide, all while you’re running your business or working with your existing clients. When that’s happening, getting new bookings doesn't feel forced. They flow. And that’s exactly where I want you to be.

There are plenty of website audits out there that promise big results without actually taking the time to understand your business or the ins and outs of your site. Polished Pages isn’t one of them.

This is an expert-level website review with personalized guidance, built to give you clarity before you spend another dollar or make another design tweak.

If your website feels like it should be doing more, but you’re not sure what to fix first, start with a website audit. It’s the smartest, lowest-risk way to figure out what’s actually holding your site back.

Clarity first. Decisions second. Guesswork never.
