Littlejohn Counseling & Consulting
Littlejohn Counseling & Consulting is the Pittsburgh practice of Brittany L. Maxshure, MSW, MPH, LCSW. She's a licensed clinical social worker and EMDR therapist with over 14 years in medical social work and clinical supervision, and she specializes in something most therapists don't touch: the overlap between medical trauma and mental health.
When Brittany came to me, she was running her practice part time around a full-time job, doing the therapy, the booking, and every single inquiry herself. No support staff. No systems. Whoever reached out got Brittany personally, whether she had the bandwidth that week or not.
She didn't need a pretty aesthetic-only website. She needed a site that could do some of that work for her: introduce her expertise, explain her approach, and let people request a consultation on their own instead of waiting on an email back and forth. She'd been in the field over a decade, but she was still settling into her niche, and she wanted that expertise to be obvious the second someone landed on her site.
Before our project together, Brittany had never worked with a designer, and everything she'd tried on her own had been painful (her words). What she wanted from me wasn't just design. She'd been following The Rebrand Lab for a while before she was ready to commit, and what pulled her in was the vibe, real attention to detail, real passion, people feeling seen. She wanted her site to do that for her clients.

The end result

What happened after the site launched
In a recent 28-day stretch alone, Brittany's website pulled in 72 visitors through a mix of channels (people searching her name directly, people finding her through Google, and traffic from social). That mix matters. She's not depending on one source to keep new people coming in anymore.
More importantly, the site logged 14 consult request conversions in that same timeframe, all without a single email exchange with Brittany first. That's the exact problem she hired me to solve. She's no longer the bottleneck between a stranger's first question and a booked consult.
The website's reach has gone past Pittsburgh, too, with visitors from Germany, Canada, France, and beyond, on top of steady traffic across the U.S. For a practice that used to run entirely on one woman's personal capacity, that's a big win.
